Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or NICET Level II/III in Highway or Transportation Inspection are required or preferred.
• Experience in construction office engineering or infrastructure documentation with field inspection is required.
• CTDOT project experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction documentation: RFIs, RFCs, submittals, drawings, contracts, and correspondence.
• Track and distribute technical documents using AASHTOWare and COMPASS.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports, meeting minutes, and change order logs.
• Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, contractors, and clients.
• Support pay estimates and schedule updates in CTDOT procedures.
• Maintain audit-ready project files.
