Job summary

Garg Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to lead daily field inspections on major projects in Rocky Hill, CT. You will verify work against contract plans and specs, coordinate with Resident Engineer, contractors, and testing teams, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires civil engineering education and several years of inspection experience, with certifications in concrete and paving. Travel to regional sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent with field inspection experience.
• Certifications: NETTCP Concrete Technician, NETTCP Paving Inspector, ACI Grade 1.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications; strong analytical skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field inspection activities on transportation projects.
• Ensure work complies with contract plans, specs, and documents.
• Serve as senior field representative between contractors, engineers, and client agencies.
• Document activities, quantities, labor, equipment, and progress using digital tools.
• Support change orders, field modifications, and as-built documentation.
• Mentor junior inspection staff and participate in project meetings.
