Job summary

GSC Wholesale LLC, based in Houston, seeks a Manager of Transportation to lead a salary and hourly team delivering safe, on-time, cost-efficient transportation across outbound and inbound lanes. You’ll drive P&L results, set clear goals, and collaborate with warehouse, sales, fleet, planning and HR to avoid silos while promoting safety and accountability.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in transportation management or logistics.
Experience leading salaried and hourly teams.
Familiarity with DOT regulations and compliance.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Knowledge of freight and distribution operations.

Responsibilities

Accountable for P&L management and outbound expense control while optimizing inbound costs.
Lead the entire team to high performance and maintain a safe, inclusive work environment.
Promote DOT compliance and manage driver qualification files and ELD programs.
Deliver exceptional customer experience through on-time delivery and issue resolution.
