Pay range for this position is $61,600 - $90,000 annually.

We are currently seeking a Transportation Manager in Fort Worth, Texas. The Manager will oversee operations including dispatching, driver safety and compliance, recruiting, and business development. The role involves working with customers, dispatchers, and operational staff to develop daily dispatch plans and make proactive operational adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Direct all short-haul drayage activities to exceed customer expectations and ensure financial profitability.
• Develop and grow a customer base aligned with company objectives.
• Monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics using scorecards and dashboards.
• Recruit, train, and manage drivers to meet safety and legislative standards.
• Maintain quality control, health, and safety standards as directed by the company and customer.

Requirements

• 5+ years of transportation or logistics experience.
• Experience in trucking (CDL) within a logistics environment.
• Proven ability to manage driver performance and retention.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze numerical and written data.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office tools.
• Proficiency in Outlook and MS Office suite.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours if required.
• Knowledge of state and federal transportation regulations.
• Open availability to manage OTR and hostler drivers operating 24/7.
