Our baked goods are available in various establishments, including fast food, quick service restaurants, cafeterias, hospitals, grocery stores, and universities.

Transportation Manager

The Transportation Manager oversees all aspects of Transportation Operations for the plant, ensuring compliance with DOT, environmental, and GMP policies. Responsibilities include managing the Transportation Department, coordinating with Private Label, and maintaining efficient scheduling and dispatching of products.

Primary Job Duties:

1. Manage Transportation Department activities and collaborate with Private Label to ensure timely handling and shipment of products.
2. Review, process, and file all paperwork from previous day's routes, including payroll sheets, driver's logs, and inspection reports.
3. Ensure timely departure of all routes.
4. Work with Human Resources to recruit and hire qualified CDL Class A truck drivers.
5. Maintain open communication with the plant manager and other department heads.
6. Address customer-related issues promptly.
7. Promote safety in all operations and conduct monthly safety meetings.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a transportation supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in a plant setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
