Job Description

This position is contingent on contract award.

The Logistics Analyst III, Materiel Fielding Transportation Coordinator, will serve as a transportation coordinator for PEOS, PM SMD, Force Integration Division (FID). The role involves procurement, assembly, and global distribution of medical equipment sets and related policies supporting the medical equipping mission worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Procure and assemble medical equipment sets.
  2. Distribute medical assemblages and equipment globally to operational forces.
  3. Develop and receive transportation concepts and policies.
  4. Support worldwide medical equipment missions.
  5. Utilize authorized Army Automation Systems such as TEWLS, LOGICOL, GCSS, and others authorized by PEOS, PM SMD.
  6. Understand Army activities, transportation systems, and DoD shipping documents for asset visibility.
  7. Track and monitor transportation and receipt of medical equipment and supplies.
  8. Provide daily transportation reports using authorized systems.
  9. Assist in providing transportation guidance to HQ, regional managers, and units domestically and overseas.
  10. Support development and review of transportation policies and procedures for efficiency and compliance.
  11. Resolve transportation conflicts/discrepancies and validate shipments.
  12. Plan and execute the Second Destination Transportation program.
  13. Analyze delays, frustrated cargo, and lost items to improve performance.
  14. Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements/Certifications:

  • Five years of prior medical logistics experience.
  • LOG 0140 Packaging of Hazardous Material certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with TEWLS, LOGICOL, AESIP, GCSS-A, LMI-DST, M3PT is desired.
  • Experience as a Medical Service Corps Officer or senior Medical NCO with logistics experience is preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in databases and spreadsheets.
  • Fundamental logistics and supply chain knowledge.

Education:

  • Associate's degree in Healthcare Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Physical Requirements
  • Work in office and outdoor environments, exposed to environmental elements.
  • Sitting, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Negotiation of stairs safely.
Other Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance.
  • US Passport valid for at least 18 months.
