Job summary

Qualifications

• Tech I: no previous experience required.
• Tech II: 1 year related experience in transportation maintenance or similar.
• Must obtain Commercial Class A CDL with 'N' endorsement within 180 days from employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintenance of signs, delineators, mailbox supports and posts; basic welding and equipment operation as needed.
• Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment; completes PMI and timekeeping/reporting.
• Assists with traffic control; places cones, signs, barricades and flags traffic.
• Maintains highways/rights-of-way; conducts roadway repairs and maintains signs and guard rails.
• Inspects and assembles materials and equipment in accordance with department specifications.
