Job summary

The Odessa District Midland Maintenance Office is seeking a Transport Maint Crew Chief to lead a crew of transportation maintenance technicians and equipment operators, performing skilled maintenance on roads and equipment. The role requires 5 years of roadway maintenance experience, a High School diploma, a Class A CDL with N endorsement and a valid driver's license, plus the ability to manage materials, safety, and scheduling.

This is a full-time, onsite position with strong benefits.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
5 years of roadway maintenance experience required; college education or technical training may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
CDL Class A with N endorsement and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

Leads a crew of transportation maintenance technicians and equipment operators in roadway maintenance tasks.
Estimates and gathers materials and equipment needed to complete assignments.
Inspects roads on route and reports problems to supervisors.
Maintains records on materials, equipment, and employee time sheets.
Performs maintenance and repair on equipment and trains crew members on equipment use.
