Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager to lead teams in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will drive performance, safety, and cost control while turning plans into measurable results across people, processes, and fleet assets.

You will partner with customers to meet KPIs, optimize routes, select carriers, manage budgeting and P&L, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement at the site in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Proven record of leadership excellence and team leadership in dynamic environments.
• Experience recruiting, training, developing, and retaining staff.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with teams and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to develop forward-looking plans and translate them into execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead supervisors and associates to meet customer objectives and business goals.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop and retain quality staff across the operation.
• Establish clear two-way communication and recognize excellence among team members.
• Meet or exceed customer KPIs and collaborate with local and other Penske sites for best practices.
• Develop and execute annual financial and operating plans; manage P&L and budgets.
• Promote an incident-free safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
