Job summary

Seaboard Foods in Merriam, KS is seeking a Transportation Load Tracker who connects the Transportation Team, Sales Team, Customers, and Plant Shipping to optimize schedules and communication across the supply chain.

You will monitor deliveries, set appointments, and work with plant personnel and customers to minimize delays. Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, with benefits and growth opportunities within a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid time-management abilities and meeting deadlines.
• Experience in transportation industry preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving capability.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with internal and external contacts regarding pickups or deliveries.
• Collaborate with plant personnel and customers to meet schedules.
• Monitor and manage appointment schedules to maximize efficiency.
• Set delivery appointments within required parameters.
• Engage with customers to ensure adherence to transportation schedules.
