Job summary

BTI Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Load Planner to optimize daily load planning using TMS and WMS, coordinating transportation to maximize efficiency.

The role involves independent judgment to balance capacity, allocate loads regionally, and adjust plans as needed. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, carriers, warehouse teams, and internal groups, communicating status updates and ensuring timely shipment execution while maintaining a collaborative work

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• 1+ year of load planning and supply chain operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Optimize load planning daily using the Transportation Management System and Warehouse Management System.
• Oversee planning and coordination of transportation services to maximize efficiency.
• Make informed decisions regarding late pickups, deliveries, cancellations, or reassignments.
• Serve as primary contact for customers, carriers, warehouse operations, and internal teams.
• Communicate daily with customers, carriers, warehouse personnel, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely shipment execution.
• Provide timely updates regarding shipment status, service failures, delays, and other issues.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that supports business operations and company objectives.
