Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Knowledge of transportation industry preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with different departments.
• Ability to transfer knowledge and train others.
• Ability to solve problems and perform under pressure using independent judgment.
• Detail oriented with strong keyboard/data entry skills.
• Fluent English (written & spoken).
• Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Experience: none required; load planning and supply chain exposure acceptable; fresh graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Load optimization daily on Transportation Management System and Warehouse Management System.
• Plan and coordinate transportation services to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Use independent judgment to determine truck locations and available loads.
• Tailor planning to meet area needs, including loads, routes, and changes or cancellations.
• Communicate load changes and late pickups/deliveries to leadership.
• Validate driver hours of service to ensure safe, legal load planning.
• Coordinate with departments to manage trailer pools and network needs.
• Collaborate with planning center teams to execute strategic plans.
• Assist with additional managerial duties as assigned.
