Job summary

Cash-Wa Distributing is seeking a Transportation Lead in Nebraska to oversee and coordinate routes, train drivers, and ensure efficient operations. This role will train and educate drivers on methods and procedures, guide performance, and ensure adherence to delivery standards and regulatory requirements.

The Lead will manage driver schedules, maintain strong customer relations, and act as a liaison between transportation and sales in the territory while covering routes as needed.

• Manage drivers' delivery schedules and hours worked.
• Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolve customer issues.
• Serve as liaison between transportation and sales in the territory.
• Cover routes when needed; i.e. PTO, sick, unfilled positions.
• Perform annual reviews and wage adjustment suggestions.
• Investigate and document incidents and retraining or disciplinary action.

We currently have open a Transportation Lead position which also needs to be able to run routes as necessary.Leads are responsible for overseeing and coordinating the routes in their area. They will train and educate drivers in methods/procedures, provide guidance as needed, and holding them accountable for results.
