Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager focused on Transportation. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial insurance, active P&C license, and trucking experience. You will support account teams, handle policy processing, renewals, and client service to ensure high-quality coverage and compliance.

This role advances through levels from AA to AMA, with increasing autonomy and responsibility, including underwriting support and renewal leadership.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial insurance experience.
• Experience in commercial transportation/trucking.
• Strong client service and communication skills.
• Ability to support multiple accounts and teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver proactive, responsive service to clients and internal teams.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements and related documents.
• Manage certificates, ID cards, binders, invoices, and policy issuance accuracy.
• Support new and renewal business processes; prepare submissions and proposals.
• Gather underwriting information and documentation.
• Maintain accurate client and policy data in systems; monitor activities.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and support collections; minimize errors & omissions.
• Lead or assist with renewal strategy and account advisement as needed.
