Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Senior Transportation Insights Manager to design end-to-end transportation solutions and drive cost savings across the RDC network. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of Transportation Solutions Managers and Coordinators, collaborating with leadership and IT to implement analytics-driven improvements.

The role requires 5+ years in transportation/logistics, strong analytical and leadership skills, and willingness to travel to regional warehouses.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree and 5+ years of transportation/logistics experience; or High School Diploma/GED and 8+ years of transportation/logistics experience
• Experience leading a team and managing cross-functional partnerships
• Strong analytical ability to translate data into strategic decisions
• Experience growing and developing a multi-area team
• Knowledge of Shaw's products, services, and culture
• Ability to travel to regional warehouses across the country

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to RDC leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, aligning transportation strategy with priorities
• Support final-mile delivery performance through route optimization and analytics, leading TSMs and influencing TCs
• Lead, coach, and develop Transportation Solutions Managers to strengthen expertise and decision-making
• Translate transportation analytics into execution with measurable improvements in OTIF and cost per pound
• Provide guidance on network design, fleet sizing, and capacity tradeoffs
• Establish long-term transportation plans and enforce standards and performance expectations
• Analyze equipment utilization, driver productivity, maintenance spend, and cost to serve
• Identify and validate cost savings across owned fleet, dedicated, and outsourced spend
• Act as SME for Omnitracs and related platforms; collaborate on enhancements
• Partner with Engineering to optimize network, fleet config, and routing logic
• Inform long-range equipment strategy including telematics and AI tools
• Communicate data-driven insights clearly to all levels of leadership
