HDR, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Hydraulics EIT/Coordinator to design urban and rural roadways, stormwater plans, and floodplain evaluations. You will work under project engineers on drainage design for local, state, and federal clients using BIM/CADD tools and deliver cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering, environmental, water resources or related fields.
• Master's degree in Water Resources or related discipline preferred.
• EIT certification or progress toward it is desirable.
• Experience with drainage design for highways/roadway projects is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team on the design of urban and rural roadways, highway and transit projects, stormwater management plans, and floodplain evaluations.
• Prepare design drawings with BIM/CADD platforms for construction and contract plans, including specs and cost estimates.
• Develop hydraulic calculations and reports, including hydrologic analyses and floodplain studies.
• Assist with drainage reports and technical memos.
• Perform water quality assessments and calculations.
