Job summary

HDR is seeking an Transportation EIT/Coordinator to join the Transportation Business Group in Washington. You will work with project engineers on detailed roadway design, alignments, drainage and estimates, while preparing reports and calculations to support project deliverables.

Preferred candidates have internship experience, proficiency in MicroStation/AutoCAD, and are pursuing or have earned an EIT. HDR emphasizes employee ownership and career growth within a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field.
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture is a must.
• EIT or ability to obtain required for career progression.
• Internship or entry-level engineering experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects with a project team.
• Assist with alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage and plan development.
• Support preparation of technical reports, specifications and calculations.
• Fulfill other duties as needed.
