The role emphasizes leading staff, planning for growth, and ensuring accurate reporting while maintaining environmental and OSHA standards; involves collaboration with Sales and HR functions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A college degree in business and five+ years in a management role.
• Experience in transportation/solid waste disposal; CDL preferred.
• Working knowledge of human resources functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and self-motivation to lead.
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple priorities, and act with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service and Sales: ensure top-notch service per the company philosophy, work with Sales Director on plans and objectives, ensure employees represent the company, grow division with new business and retain customers, act as liaison to customers and municipalities.
• Operations: oversee day-to-day division operations, plan and control ops to meet goals, ensure timely reporting, enforce 100% environmental compliance, maintain safety per OSHA, plan equipment and maintenance, ensure facilities meet standards, manage staffing and training.
• Accounting: implement and adhere to division budget, manage profitability of lines of business, handle accounts receivable, collections, and billing, provide timely financial reporting.
