Job summary

JP Mascaro & Sons in the Wyoming Valley Division, Nanticoke, PA, is seeking a Route Supervisor to lead daily manpower and equipment across routes, ensuring top service levels and safety compliance with contracts and regulations.

You will train staff, optimize routes, monitor documentation, investigate incidents, and coordinate with customers and municipalities to meet goals. CDL preferred or obtainable within one year; ability to lift 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of prior leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Allocate daily manpower and equipment for assigned areas to ensure service, efficiency, and safety.
• Coordinate with customers, municipalities, and ensure contracts, Code, DOT and OSHA compliance.
• Train and maintain training for all assigned employees in service, safety, and policies.
• Establish route efficiency and re-balance workloads to maintain coverage.
• Investigate injuries/incidents and determine root causes; follow through with retraining.
• Review driver logs and pre/post trip documentation daily.
• Assess neighborhoods and customers to resolve safety issues.
• Maintain timely interactions with employees to motivate and align with career goals.
• Lead special projects and other duties as assigned.
