Job summary

Republic Services seeks an Operations Supervisor – Hauling Operations to supervise collections activities across multiple lines of business in a geographically dispersed area. You will oversee drivers and helpers and work with the Operations Manager and General Manager to drive safety, customer experience, and efficiency.

This role emphasizes safety, route optimization, budget adherence, and employee engagement, with responsibility for leading teams, improving routes, and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Able to direct large staff and manage multiple routes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking and decision-making skills.
• Collaborative leadership with emphasis on hiring and developing high-performance teams.

Responsibilities

• Safety: lead safety and accident prevention programs and ensure a safe work environment.
• Customer Experience: meet or exceed customer expectations and resolve service issues.
• Efficiency: drive productivity, optimize routes, and control labor and disposal costs.
