Job summary

Stantec in the United States is offering a Summer 2027 internship with the Fuel System Engineering Group, based in Auburn, NH, Portland, ME, or Overland Park, KS. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gain hands-on experience, and support CAD drafting, regulatory reviews, and reporting while participating in field visits.

The role involves using AutoCAD and REVIT for site design, assisting with drawings, pipe/tank system components, safety compliance, and collaboration with mentors.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited University or College pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Experience with AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Work with AutoCAD and REVIT software for site design and family/component modeling of various fuel related systems.
• Drawing reviews and transferring markups to designs through associated software.
• Supervised design of energy/fuel systems to include piping, hardware, tanks, and associated components.
• Communicate regularly with your assigned mentor and task team lead(s).
• Comply with safety and security protocols.
• Correspondence with manufacturers or permit authorities.
