Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking an engineering intern for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on experience in our Fuel System Engineering group. You will work with senior practitioners on CAD drafting, field observations, and regulatory reviews in a collaborative team environment.

The role involves office tasks using AutoCAD and REVIT, plus site work in varying outdoor conditions. You’ll develop practical skills, expand your network, and contribute to real projects in Portland, ME and

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel required.
• Ability to work in a team and in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with AutoCAD and REVIT for site design and modeling.
• Perform drawing reviews and transfer markups to designs.
• Assist in design of energy/fuel systems including piping, tanks, and components.
• Coordinate with mentor and task team leads.
• Follow safety and security protocols.
• Liaise with manufacturers or permit authorities.
