Job summary

Stantec is seeking Transportation Engineering Interns to support roadway and structural groups during the Summer of 2027. This office-based internship offers hands-on CAD drafting, basic calculations, and field support with limited telework.

You will collaborate with a team, develop practical design understanding, and gain exposure to civil engineering workflows in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s engineering program.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with Bentley MicroStation/Open Roads Designer or AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support roadway design and structural engineering groups.
• Support roadway construction engineering groups in the field.
• Conduct basic calculations and assist in developing engineer's estimates.
• Assist team in preparing CAD drawings and reports.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature as assigned.
