Job summary

Stantec’s Fuel System Engineering group seeks an intern for Summer 2027 to work with CAD tools, perform in‑office drafting, and participate in field observations across multiple offices. The role includes team collaboration, documentation, and safety compliance in a dynamic environment.

The internship emphasizes hands‑on design, drawing reviews, and exposure to energy/fuel systems, with potential regional travel and end‑of‑summer wrap‑up activities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited university pursuing Mechanical, Civil, Structural or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Experience with AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Work with AutoCAD and REVIT for site design and modeling of fuel systems.
• Review drawings and transfer markups to designs.
• Assist in design of energy/fuel systems including piping, hardware, tanks.
• Communicate with mentor and task team leads regularly.
• Adhere to safety and security protocols.
