Avon seeks an organized Transportation Accounts Payable professional to record delivery expenses, manage bills of lading, and prepare regular financial reports. You will analyze data from US Transportation departments and monitor variances to support national planning.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting, and strong communication as part of a team committed to operational excellence at Avon.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to access, analyze and interpret computerized information in a database.
• Able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and take initiative on specific issues.
• Ability to prioritize handling of situations.
• Must pass Windows, Word and Excel at Level II.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Access a plus.

Responsibilities

• Record payment of delivery expenses to proper accounts.
• Maintain daily records and bills of lading of shipments.
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports.
• Prepare order count reports monthly and by Campaign.
• Collect and analyze data from US Transportation departments for strategic insight.
• Analyze monthly variances by account for the Department Manager.
