Job summary

CFS in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Transportation & Export Coordinator to gain hands-on experience coordinating international shipments and global logistics. You will work in a family-oriented culture that values teamwork and employee engagement while supporting ERP records and shipping schedules.

Responsibilities include coordinating daily container pickups, creating export schedules, communicating with trucking companies and steamship lines, and tracking shipments through terminals and vessel

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, trucking, supply chain, shipping, agriculture, or export operations.
• Experience coordinating transportation schedules, pickups, deliveries, or drivers.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working with transportation records, logistics documentation, or ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily container pickups and deliveries between farm operations and port facilities
• Create and maintain transportation and export shipping schedules
• Communicate with trucking companies, dispatchers, drivers, terminals, and steamship lines
• Monitor container movements, vessel schedules, equipment availability, and shipping deadlines
• Track shipments through terminal delivery and vessel departure
• Maintain accurate transportation records and ERP system data
