Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with emphasis in Transportation Engineering.

• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Microstation and OpenRoads 3D.

Responsibilities

• The Transportation EIT will assist in plans and designs for transportation projects such as highways, roads, transit, bridges.
• Perform highway/roadway design tasks from schematic to PS&E, including sections, alignments, profiles, cross-sections, traffic control, signing/striping, SWPPP, hydraulics and drainage.
• Evaluate, specify, and engineer systems or products; perform calculations and some field work.
• Support senior engineers/designers with routine civil engineering tasks and project analysis.
• Prepare geometric analyses and project plans for urban and rural roadways and intersections.
• Ensure quality delivery, budgets and schedules are met, and assist in design documentation.
