Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Transportation EIT/Designer to contribute to roadway and site development projects, focusing on grading, roadway design, drainage, earthwork, and plan production.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers and designers, building skills to grow into a well-rounded transportation engineer. The role emphasizes exposure to urban and rural projects, alignment and hydraulics, and the creation of technical reports and calculations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field.
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture is required.
• Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects.
• Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, hydraulics, stormwater, civil grading, development of plans and construction estimates.
• Provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications and calculations.
• Proficient in grading and plan production workflows in Autodesk Civil3D.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Education
