Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Civil or Transportation Engineering Intern to join our team in a dynamic environment. You will work with transportation engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects, researching and analyzing data to support roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic work, and CAD tasks.

Interns will perform routine calculations and reports under supervision and assist with field assignments, contributing to meaningful projects while pursuing a degree

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Research, compile and examine transportation data under supervision.
• Support Transportation Engineering studies with focus on roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design, and CAD.
• Perform routine engineering calculations and analyses under supervision; proofread and copy technical and non-technical reports.
• Assist staff with a variety of projects and field assignments.
