Job summary

CDM Smith in Indianapolis is seeking a Civil or Transportation Engineering Intern to join our Transportation team. You will research, compile and examine transportation data for a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects, and assist with roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design, and CAD drafting.

You will perform routine engineering calculations under supervision, help prepare staff reports and specifications, and support ongoing projects and field assignments

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's in Transportation or Civil Engineering.
• Enrollment required; internship/Co-Op position available.

Responsibilities

• Assist Transportation team with researching, compiling and examining transportation data.
• Support PS&E design, environmental and schematic design efforts, and CAD drafting.
• Perform calculations and analyses under supervision and help prepare reports.
