Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Civil or Transportation Engineering Intern to join the Transportation team. You’ll work with a dynamic group of engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects.

You will be researching, compiling and examining transportation data. During the internship or Co-Op you will work with our Transportation team by researching, compiling and examining a variety of transportation data.

Qualifications

• Enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Transportation or Civil Engineering.
• Interest in transportation data and PS&E design.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Research, compile, and examine transportation data.
• Support roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses under supervision; proofread reports and specifications.
• Assist staff with various projects and field assignments.
