Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Civil or Transportation Engineering Intern/Co-Op in Massachusetts. You will join a dynamic Transportation team working on public, federal, and industrial projects, researching data and assisting with design and drafting tasks.

You will support studies in roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design, and CAD, performing calculations under supervision and helping with reports and field assignments. No travel is required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related Engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Researching, compiling and examining a variety of transportation data.
• Support Transportation Engineering studies with a focus on roadway PS&E design, environmental and schematic design, and computer aided design and drafting.
• Perform routine engineering calculations and analyses under supervision, proofreading and copying technical and non-technical reports, and assisting staff with projects and field assignments.
