Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Engineering Intern to join our transportation group in Wisconsin.

This limited-term internship offers hands‑on experience developing transportation projects, using design software to prepare documents, and developing cost estimates for a range of local to interstate projects. You will work both independently and in teams, supporting experienced engineers on CAD-based design and plan production.

Qualifications

• Two semesters of civil/environmental/construction management coursework from an accredited college or university.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transportation projects in office and field settings.
• Use Autodesk Civil 3D to prepare design documents and estimates.
• Analyze reports, plans, schedules and permits.
• Support design and plan production for transportation projects.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Participate in construction inspection and field observation activities.
