Job summary

MASITE is seeking a senior transportation engineering professional to join Michael Baker’s Tolling Services practice in Pennsylvania. You’ll serve as project manager or technical leader for highway or bridge projects and collaborate with national experts to deliver results.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of tolling and transportation experience, strong communication, and a proven track record of project delivery, with a willingness to lead multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic, hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (with commensurate experience).
• 10+ years of related experience in transportation/ Tolling projects.
• Experience with tolling agencies, state DOTs, FHWA or similar transportation agencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including reporting and presentations.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager and/or technical leader for highway/bridge transportation engineering assignments.
• Support PA Turnpike executive team and staff across design, construction, facilities, and roadway maintenance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and industry experts nationwide to deliver project outcomes.
• Apply strong critical thinking to complex transportation engineering challenges.
• Lead and manage assignments of varying size while maintaining quality, schedule, and client expectations.
• Communicate concepts and recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders.
