GRAEF in Madison, WI is seeking a Transportation Engineer/Project Manager with proven leadership to manage projects, pursue new business and mentor staff in a collaborative, employee-owned firm. The role requires at least 8 years of transportation design experience, WI PE, strong client development skills; experience with WisDOT standards, Civil 3D or Open Roads is a plus.

• Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design.
• Knowledge of WisDOT design and standards.
• PE license in WI required; PE in MN & IL a plus.
• Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development.
• Project Management experience with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
• Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members.
• Experience in leading and mentoring staff for career development and advancement.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, MicroStation and Open Roads Designer is an advantage.

Transportation Engineer/Project Manager responsibilities may include:

We are considering candidates who possess the following minimum qualifications:
