GRAEF in Milwaukee is seeking a Transportation Engineer/Project Manager to lead projects from inception through design and delivery. You will oversee priorities, manage budgets, and contribute hands-on in transportation design within a collaborative, multi-disciplined team.

The role requires 8+ years in transportation engineering, WI WisDOT familiarity, and a WI PE license, with opportunities for client development and leadership within an employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design.
• Knowledge of WisDOT design and standards.
• PE license in WI.
• Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development.
• Project management experience with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation a plus.
• Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members.

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Transportation Engineer/Project Manager in our Corporate Headquarters office in downtown Milwaukee located in The Avenue.

Transportation Engineer/Project Manager Responsibilities Include

We are considering candidates for our Transportation Engineer/Project Manager position who possess the following minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design. Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of WisDOT design and standards is highly preferred.
• PE license in WI.
• Experience in business development and project development processes, including marketing activities, client development, project tracking and proposal development.
• Project Management experience with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation a plus.
• Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D software is a significant advantage.
