Freese and Nichols in Lubbock, Texas is looking for a Transportation Engineer to join our Civil/Transportation team. You will support design projects, work with municipal, county, and TxDOT clients, and help grow technical expertise within the office.

The role involves applying design standards, coordinating with Project Engineers, and mentoring CAD staff while delivering high-quality plans and studies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience performing engineering tasks in civil/ transportation projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field is required.
• EIT certification is preferred.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D or Microstation experience is desired.
• Open Roads Designer experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support transportation design projects for municipal, county, and TxDOT clients.
• Apply design standards and criteria to project development tasks.
• Coordinate with Project Engineer and Group Manager to meet schedules.
• Interface with clients and build strong working relationships.
• Oversee CAD technicians and entry-level engineers on assigned tasks.
• Provide design control and ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
