Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Civil/Transportation/Structural Engineer to contribute to large-scale projects such as highways, tunnels, and mass transit in the United States. You will participate in design, reviews, and documentation that shape critical infrastructure.

Under supervision, you will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, perform site studies, and help develop technical papers. Travel may be required based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency depends on duties.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop large-scale highway, tunnel, mass transit, and aviation designs.
• Review designs for compliance with regulations and update design requirements as needed.
• Conduct site reviews to ensure designs align with location specifications.
• Contribute to firm's technical papers and design documentation; publish work.
• Assist team in creating posters or conference presentation materials.
