Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Civil/Transportation/Structural Engineer to work under direct supervision on large-scale infrastructure projects, including highways, tunnels, mass transit and aviation designs.

The role involves reviewing draft designs for regulatory compliance, performing site reviews, and contributing to technical design documentation while travel up to 10% or less may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline. 0 years.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. Travel frequency depends on duties.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision, develops large scale projects such as highways, tunnels, mass transit and aviation engineering designs of basic complexity to meet client project requirements.
• Reviews draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Performs site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications.
