Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) in Union Gap, WA, seeks a Transportation Engineer 2 to help shape Washington's transportation system by delivering safe, cost‑effective roadway improvements. You will develop plans, specifications, and estimates and coordinate with a team of engineers, technicians, and consultants.

Responsibilities include preparing design documents, reviewing contract plans, and leading meetings. A valid driver's license and ability to travel are required.

• Foundational knowledge in civil/transportation engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and manuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and engineering software.
