Job summary

Fishbeck in Indiana seeks a Transportation Engineer to lead roadway design and plan production for transportation projects that improve mobility and safety across the state. You will work with our Transportation team to deliver high-quality design packages and cost estimates, engaging with INDOT and local agencies.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering and a PE license, plus 8+ years in roadway engineering, with MicroStation ORD experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and plan production for transportation projects from initiation to completion.
• Interact with INDOT, local agencies, consultants and contractors.
• Prepare quantities and construction cost estimates for bidding.
• Assist in budgets, schedules and technical proposals.
• Apply ORD and other roadway design software in deliverables.
• Adopt evolving project needs while partnering with design teams.
• Demonstrate ownership, attention to detail, and teamwork.
