Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Engineer to deliver roadway and infrastructure projects across the Southeast. You’ll join a hands-on design team, collaborate with project managers, and take on increasing responsibilities from concept through delivery.

The role emphasizes roadway plans, geometric design, and design calculations, with use of MicroStation, InRoads/GEOPAK, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. A strong communicative, organized professional is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT certification preferred.
• 3+ years of transportation engineering/design experience.
• Experience with MicroStation V8 and InRoads or GEOPAK.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans and perform design calculations.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop roadway plans, construction documents, and design exhibits.
• Complete geometric design, calculations, and quantity estimates.
• Support transportation projects from initial design through project delivery.
• Work closely with project managers and other engineering disciplines.
• Use CADD software to create, review, and update design documents.
• Ensure designs meet applicable state and project standards.
