Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design process for transportation projects, setting priorities and developing objectives.
2. Serve as a technical resource for a multidisciplinary team.
3. Design tasks may include:
1. Highway and roadway plans, specifications, and estimates.
2. Sewer plans, specifications, and estimates.
3. Project permitting and reports.
4. Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth.
5. Engage in professional society involvement.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
2. 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering, highway, and local street design.
3. Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, and municipal design standards.
4. IL PE license required.
5. Proficiency in MicroStation/OpenRoads, AutoCAD Civil3D is a plus.
6. Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and teams.
