Collins Engineers, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Roadway Design Engineer to join our Civil Group in our Chicago, Illinois office. This unique opportunity allows you to play a key role in diverse roadway/transportation engineering projects.

The ideal candidate will have approximately 10 years of progressive experience, a strong understanding of IDOT and Illinois Tollway standards, and preferred experience in Open Roads Modeling and drainage design. Relocation is available.

Ideal candidates will have approximately 10 years of progressive experience in the design and development of roadway projects, with a strong understanding of IDOT, Illinois Tollway, and local agency standards. Open Roads Modeling and Drainage design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a variety of roadway/transportation engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Ensure projects meet technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions.

• Is active in technical societies.
• Other duties may be assigned.
