Job summary
PINPOINT PRECISION ENGINEERING in Chicago seeks an experienced Senior Transportation Engineer to lead major roadway projects and coordinate with state agencies. You will apply current engineering principles, prepare plan sets, review designs, stamp plans, and manage CAD/modeling from concept to final design.
The role requires a Professional Engineering license in Illinois and 10+ years of experience, with strong leadership and client relations skills.
Qualifications
- Requires IL PE license and 10+ years of transportation engineering experience.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex roadway projects.
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO standards and MUTCD guidance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop plan sets and specifications for roadway projects in accordance with standards.
- Prepare, review, and stamp designs; manage CAD and modeling tasks from concept to final design.
- Coordinate with agencies, utilities, and stakeholders to advance projects.
- Oversee staff and consultants to ensure on-time project completion.
- Present designs and facilitate meetings with public and private partners.
