Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville, TN seeks a dedicated Transportation Driver to transport residents, staff, and volunteers safely to appointments and activities. You will support daily schedules, assist with transfers, and maintain professional interactions.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED preferred, a valid driver's license, and prior transportation experience. CNA is a plus; long-term care exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
• Valid, unencumbered state driver's license required.
• At least 1-2 years of transportation experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience transporting and transferring residents with impairments using facility equipment.
• CNA certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review daily rehabilitation schedules and ensure availability for transportations.
• Provide minimal assist with resident transfers to and from wheelchairs.
• Assist nursing and rehabilitation personnel with transfers to and from vehicles.
• Transport residents to and from rehabilitation areas for scheduled appointments.
• Operate elevators as needed.
• Inform nursing and rehabilitation staff of any incidents or problems.
• Maintain positive, professional interactions with residents and staff.

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a dedicated and patient TRANSPORTATION Driver to join our team! As a vital part of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of our residents, staff, and volunteers to and from various destinations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review daily rehabilitation schedules and ensure availability for transportations

• Provide minimal assist with resident transfers to and from wheelchairs

• Assist nursing and rehabilitation personnel with transfers to and from vehicles

• Transport residents to and from rehabilitation areas for scheduled appointments

• Operate elevators as needed

• Inform nursing and rehabilitation staff of any incidents or problems

• Maintain positive, professional interactions with residents and staff

Requirements:
