Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Nashville, TN is seeking a dedicated TRANSPORTATION Driver to ensure safe and comfortable transportation for residents, staff, and volunteers.

You will review schedules, assist with transfers, and support nursing and rehabilitation teams. A high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and 1–2 years of transportation experience are preferred; CNA helps but not required. Qualifications

• Valid, unencumbered state driver’s license required.
• 1–2 years transportation experience preferred.
• Experience transporting residents with impairments using facility equipment.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review daily schedules and ensure availability for transportation.
• Provide minimal assistance with resident transfers to and from wheelchairs.
• Assist nursing and rehabilitation personnel with transfers to and from vehicles.
• Transport residents to and from rehabilitation areas for scheduled appointments.
• Operate elevators as needed.
• Inform nursing and rehabilitation staff of any incidents or problems.
• Maintain positive, professional interactions with residents and staff.

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a dedicated and patient TRANSPORTATION Driver to join our team! As a vital part of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of our residents, staff, and volunteers to and from various destinations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review daily rehabilitation schedules and ensure availability for transportations

• Provide minimal assist with resident transfers to and from wheelchairs

• Assist nursing and rehabilitation personnel with transfers to and from vehicles

• Transport residents to and from rehabilitation areas for scheduled appointments

• Operate elevators as needed

• Inform nursing and rehabilitation staff of any incidents or problems

• Maintain positive, professional interactions with residents and staff

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred

• Valid, unencumbered state driver's license required

• At least 1-2 years of transportation experience preferred

• Previous long-term care experience preferred

• Must have experience transporting and transferring residents or patients with physical impairments using facility equipment

• CNA certification is preferred but not required
