Job summary

Rock Creek Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Monte Vista, CO is hiring a full-time Transportation Driver to safely move residents to medical appointments and activities. You’ll assist residents getting in and out of vehicles and maintain a clean, organized transport vehicle while following facility policies.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license with a clean record, strong communication, and a patient, respectful approach to seniors.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• CNA certification preferred, but not required.
• Patient, compassionate, and respectful with seniors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage transportation schedules and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments and activities.
• Assist residents entering and exiting vehicle as needed.
• Keep vehicle clean, safe, and well-organized.
• Follow transportation policies and document schedules.
• Communicate with residents, families, staff and providers.
• Report safety concerns to leadership promptly.
• Provide compassionate, respectful service to every resident.

Are you a reliable, compassionate, and responsible driver who enjoys helping others?

Rock Creek Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is looking for a dependable Transportation Driver to join our team! In this role, you'll help safely transport residents to appointments, activities, and other necessary destinations while providing friendly and respectful service along the way.

We're looking for someone who is dependable, patient, safety-focused, and comfortable working with seniors and individuals who may have mobility or healthcare needs.

What You'll Do:

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, activities, and other destinations

• Assist residents with safely entering and exiting the vehicle as needed

• Help ensure residents are comfortable and secure during transportation

• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized vehicle

• Follow all facility transportation and safety policies

• Maintain accurate transportation schedules and documentation

• Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers

• Report any vehicle or resident safety concerns to appropriate leadership

• Provide compassionate and respectful service to every resident

What We're Looking For:

• Valid driver's license and safe driving record

• Reliable and dependable attendance

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Patient, compassionate, and respectful approach to working with residents

• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs

• Comfortable working independently and managing transportation schedules

• CNA certification preferred, but not required
