Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Financial Services LLC in Emmetsburg, IA is seeking a Driver to transport residents with mobility challenges to their destinations safely and on time.

The role involves assisting residents in boarding and exiting the vehicle, operating wheelchair lifts as needed, reporting incidents to a supervisor, and maintaining infection control and safety practices to preserve residents' dignity and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Arrive to work in a timely manner.
• Take work orders from supervisor for client trip.
• Drive clients to their destinations on time, including clients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips and special equipment.
• Assist clients as they get into and out of the vehicle.
• Report back to the supervisor when clients have been dropped off at their destination.
• Report any incidents or accidents to the supervisor.
• Operate wheelchair lifts as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and protocol.
• Assure that established infection control and standard precaution practices are maintained.
• Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies.
• Maintains the comfort, privacy and dignity of residents and interacts with them in a manner that displays warmth, respect and promotes a caring environment.
• Reports all hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, accidents/incidents and supply issues to the supervisor.
