Job summary

Berkeley Heights Public Schools is seeking a reliable School Bus Driver to transport pupils safely and on time, maintaining orderly conduct and adherence to district policies.

The role requires a valid CDL with bus and air brake endorsements, prior safe driving experience, and successful background checks. You will work under the direction of the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary/Transportation Supervisor and support student safety on each route.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with bus and air brake endorsement.
• Minimum safe driving experience as determined by the board.
• Ability to maintain passenger discipline to ensure student safety and wellbeing and protect against vandalism.
• Successful Criminal History Clearance.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization.

JOB GOAL: To transport pupils in a safe and efficient manner and perform all activities related to the operation of the school bus.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License with bus and air brake endorsement.
• Minimum safe driving experience as determined by the board
• Ability to maintain passenger discipline to ensure student safety and wellbeing and protect against vandalism
• Successful Criminal History Clearance.
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or appropriate employment authorization.

Salary Range: as per negotiated agreement and BHBOE
